Emma Lee Clary was born July 16, 1935 in Shreveport, Louisiana to George and Norvelle Paige. As a young child Emma moved to Las Vegas, Nevada with her grandmother Emma Wesley, who raised her and her sister Annette after the death of her parents. Emma married Joseph Clary June 5, 1950 in
St. George, Utah. Joseph said he met Emma at a water fountain and said he was going to marry her, and they have been married for 70 years, and to that union were born 8 children, after having children Emma went back to school and earned a degree while she worked at Centel Telephone Company where she retired after 20 years of service. After retirement Emma owned a small hat business called Dare to Browse.
Emma dedicated her life to Christ at an early age, and was a member Power House C.O.G.I.C. under the leadership of Pastor John W. Logan until his passing, and continued as member under the leadership of Superintendent Pastor Willie Blanche until God called her home. Emma was a member of Power House C.O.G.I.C for over 65 years, where she served in various positions, Y.P.W.W. President, Usher board President, Sunday School Superintendent, and was a member of the Mother’s Board, Choir member and Emma also worked with the Nevada First Jurisdiction Sunday School.
Emma loved to play sports with her children and the children of the Church. She would run races, play softball, kick ball, and basketball at all the Church picnics, as a Sunday School Superintendent Emma would open the snack shack for the children after Sunday School, no matter what she was selling she made it affordable for the children. Emma was loving and caring she loved God and the church, and wherever she was needed she was willing to work.
On February 22, 2020 Emma made her heavenly transition, she leaves to cherish her memory , husband of 70 years Joseph Clary, Three daughter Noralla Branch, Anita Clary, Princess Daniels (David), Four sons Vinson Clary (Ramona), Dexter Clary, Paul Clary (Charlotte) Christopher Clary, and one brother in-law James Green all of Las Vegas, Nevada. 23 grandchildren 46 great grandchildren who she loved dearly, a host of nieces, nephew’s relatives and friends.

Son Joseph Clary Jr. Sister Annette Nobles.
Emma was a woman of Love and Integrity, to know her was to love her.
Her favorite saying was be with one accord and get off the cord!
