On February 12, 1959, Edward Earl Haley was the 7th child born to the union of Bobbie Wallace-Haley and Leroy Haley Sr. Edward Earl Haley was born in Texarkana, Arkansas. He began attending school at Carver Elementary until 1968 when his family relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada. Edward then attended Highland Elementary, Jim Bridger Junior High, and Rancho High School all of Las Vegas. In 1982, Edward began working as a 21 dealer for the Holiday Inn Hotel & Casino. Edward vowed at that time to be the fastest and best, hence the nickname "Fast Eddie." While working as a dealer he opened Haley's Automotive, where he shared his hobby and love for automobiles with the Las Vegas Valley. Later in life Ed closed his shop, but continued dealing cards and became a Master Card Dealer. After working at the Holiday Inn for over 16 years Edward made the decision to return to his roots down south. After a brief time down south, Edward returned to Las Vegas to reunite with his loved ones and continued his love of dealing. Being the Jack of all trades that he was, Edward continued to expand his work experience by working as a painter, landscaper, and mechanic all while achieving his goal to be the fastest card dealer in Las Vegas. Edward continued with his work up until he was injured in multiple car accidents in 2014. Being the fighter that he was, Edward continued his work as best as he could until he could no more.
