Edie Fink, 95, a Las Vegas resident for 59 years, passed away in her sleep on June 6, 2024. Edie was born in New York May 5, 1929. She met Arthur S. Fink while at UCLA and was married August 26th, 1950 and they enjoyed 71 wonderful years together. Edie was predeceased by her husband Art Fink and grandson Matthew S. Fink. Edie is survived by her children Donald M. Fink (spouse Cary Marie Olah), Lavi Daniel and Cathy Kama (spouse Richard Kama). Her grandchildren Joshua D. Fink, Kelan Daniel (spouse Carly) Dylan Kama (spouse Aly) and Natsumi Shakhman (spouse Igor).
Edie’s personal loves were playing tennis and knitting. She was a premier knitter and loved going to her local knit shop to socialize with all of her friends who shared the same passion. She loved making sweaters for her grandchildren and donated beautiful sweaters to others.
Edie and her daughter Cathy shared the passion of playing tennis. They traveled to many places as Cathy played professionally. Edie and Art also traveled to Europe several times to see the French Open and the Wimbledon Championships.
Edie and Art both became licensed pilots and purchased a single engine Cessna 182. They loved to fly and flew everywhere enjoying both flying and the places they visited. They donated their time, plane and expertise as pilots for Angel Plane a Las Vegas based national organization. The organization provides free transportation for people needing organ donor transplants to nearby cities with last minute notice. She will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the local Alzheimer's Association.
