Edgar Gomez

Edgar Gomez was born on August 30, 1992 at White Memorial Hospital in Redondo Beach, California. Edgar was raised in Gardena, California by his parents Etelvina Ochoa and Carlos Vargas. Edgar was raised with three siblings. He had two brothers, Jorge, Antonio and one younger sister, Janet. Edgar graduated from Rancho High School in 2010. He enjoyed some courses more than others, having favorite classes and teachers. His favorite class in high school was weight training. He was a member of the Latin Club. Edgar approached his leisure time in the same manner that he approached his life. He appreciated the hours he was able to devote to his various hobbies; his favorite pursuit was cycling. Playing by the rules was a natural thing for Edgar to do in life and that carried over to his enjoyment of sports. He also was something of a sports fan and enjoyed watching his favorite events whenever he got the opportunity. Tops on his list was boxing. Edgar was a lover of animals and cherished his pets. One of Edgar’s favorites was Nixon, a Teacup Yorke dog. They were best friends for 2 years. Edgar passed away on September 17, 2012 at North Las Vegas, Nevada. of a tragic accident. Services were held at Palm Mortuary - Downtown. Edgar was laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery in Las Vegas, Nevada.
