DOUGLAS TY Douglas Ty peacefully passed away May 31, 2011. Doug was born June 7, 1952, in Manila, Philippines, grew up in Waverly, N.Y., and moved to Las Vegas in 1992. He loved to fish and regaled us with his many catches. A loyal Boston Red Sox fan, Doug talked about his beloved team. He was a good and loyal son, brother, uncle, and friend, calling us every week. His days were spent working at Opportunity Village, caring for beloved dogs, Milkshake and Dumpling, riding his bicycle to visit friends, and being a companion to his mother. He will be missed. Doug, affectionately called "Tico", is survived by his mother, Janet; siblings, Michael, Clifford, Jennifer, Sharon; and many relatives. He was predeceased by his father, James; and brother, Jimmy. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 4, at All Saints' Episcopal, 4201 W. Washington Ave., (bet. Valley View and Decatur). We request donations be made to Three Square, 4190 N.
