Dorsey Dan Gray

Dan Gray, of Henderson, passed away on June 9, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. Dan was born in Madill, OK on June 24, 1930. He came to Las Vegas in 1951, where he was stationed at Nellis Air Force Base. Dan was a barber and the co-owner of Plaza Barber Shop until he retired. His greatest joy was his wife, children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife of 57 years, Jean. He is survived by his son Dan (Monika) Gray Jr.; Daughters Jeanne (Charlie) Hosmer and LeeAnne (Mike) Amos; son Phillip Gray; and his Sister Ladell (Orville) Wolf. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Dan was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and loved him. Dan was laid to rest with his beloved wife at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, NV. Arrangements are under the direction of Palm Eastern Mortuary and Cemetery.
