Dorothy Barton, age 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 23, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born January 07, 1932, in Arkansas, to Ruth and Lloyd Elliot. She was a graduate of Tulare Union High School. Dorothy married her husband Firman on June 7, 1952 and became a stay at home mom for her 4 children. She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with family and friends, traveling, and having Holiday dinners with family.
Dorothy is survived by her 4 sons, 6 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren who will miss her deeply. Family, friends, and others whose lives Dorothy touched are invited to the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr, Boulder City, NV 89005, from 12:40 p.m.-1:10 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2023 to reminisce, grieve, and support each other. Please arrive on time as the VA cemetery is strict with their allotted times.
