Donald Lee “Don” Margolis, 88, a retired mail carrier, of Henderson, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020.
Don was born on December 25, 1931 in Cleveland, OH to Anna and Morris Margolis and has been a Southern Nevada resident since 1999. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran and served during the Korean War. He was the youngest and the last to survive of nine children. He is predeceased by his parents; all his siblings; and Barbara, his beloved wife of 62 years. He is survived by his two daughters, Lynda Margolis (Leslie) and Susan Smith (Jim); son, Jeff Margolis (Dee); and four grandchildren, Matthew Margolis (Jordan, Mitchell Margolis (Jerika), Annie Margolis, and Hannah Smith. Funeral and burial services will be held at 1:20PM on Monday, August 10, 2020 at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City, NV and attendance will be limited to Don’s immediate family members. Family requests that memorial donations made to Animal Foundation of Southern Nevada. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
