Donald Margolis, 89, of Las Vegas passed away on April 18, 2017. He was born in Chicago, the beloved son of Samson and Bessie Margolis, on August 30, 1927. He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife Betty, their three caring sons, Steven (Jackie), Kenneth (Donna) and Craig (Jackie), 6 grandchildren Robbie, Michelle, Nikki, Hannah, Rachel and Jessica and 3 great-grandchildren Alisa, Tiffany and Brian.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday April 20, 2017 at King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane, Las Vegas, NV. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
Donald had a successful career in Advertising managing the creation and manufacturing of Point of Purchase Displays for leading iconic brands for 40 years working directly with founders of leading ad agencies including Leo Burnett, Bud Frankel, Lee Flaherty and local creative talent Bill Olendorf to name a few.
For nearly 30 years, Don could be found at the Su Casa restaurant on Ontario Street sitting at the Bar hosting food and drinks for his friends and advertising clients up to his retirement 22 years ago.
He retired from Rapid Displays with his wife Betty to Las Vegas where they frequently entertained visiting friends and family and continued a 40 year tradition of spending winters in Acapulco.
