Don Campbell, a 92-year old WWII veteran, passed away on December 22, 2015. A resident of Las Vegas for the past 23 years. Don was born on February 27, 1923 in Flushing, New York to Elizabeth Bierne and William Lamont Campbell. He is survived by his wife, Mary M. Campbell; his daughter Linda Russo; his son-in law-Thomas Russo; grandsons Thomas, Michael, and Anthony. Don was an avid reader and a graduate of New York City's Cooper Union College. He was an electrical engineer for 40 years at American District Telegraph, whose office had been located in the World Trade Center before it perished on 9/11. An adoring husband and caring father, Don was loved by everyone, especially his colleagues. Don will be laid to rest at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, in Boulder City Nevada, on January 6, 2016 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans
