All I can say from the bottom of my heart is that I’m going to miss my primo Diego. He always knew what to say, how to listen without judgement, and push me out of my comfort zone. It was an honor to have the experiences I did with you and I will cherish them forever. Until we meet again keep listening to Taylor swift, enjoying the best foods and drinks, watching all the scary movies, and seeing the world.Te quiero mucho primo let me know all about it when I get the honor to see you again. 🤍

This is my most favorite memory of all. This day he came over and my friend had left all her rave clothes in my room. Diego was always finding a way to be silly and he tried on all her clothes and was posing and was saying “you like this? “. We had such a funny afternoon. He even took my hair straighter and starting straightening his hair as a joke just to make me laugh. I know he would be so mad that i am posting this. I love you Diego you were incomparable. I’ve thought about you every day since we met 

This is of when we would stay at school for hours and hours and hours just chatting and having fun and (sometimes)studying. I loved just being around him. He always had something funny or witty to say. I always wanted to be with him even when he would push me away. 

I remember distinctly after taking this picture he called me Mensa because of the face i was making. I remember feeling so excited that he had initiated the picture because just being included in his life meant a lot to me 

When we would carpool to work. Me, Genn and Diego would play music super loud and sometimes get a bite to eat and just enjoy each others company before a long shift as ushers at concerts. It was one of the most delightful eras in my life. It was so simple, it seemed like we had our whole life ahead of us just waiting to be lived 

When Cameron and Diego went to visit me in San Francisco. I have so many fond memories of this time. I was so happy to see Diego’s face 

Always felt like he was a part of my family. Even when we first became friends and didn’t know each other that well- it felt like we had known each other our whole lives. When he met my family we all just immediately loved him and that’s just what his personality was. Loveable and you couldn’t feel any other way 

I miss hearing his laugh and when we would call each other “mensos”. That was always my favorite. I loved when he would tease me and we would laugh and laugh 

You were my favorite little deputy 💙 Love you always, Diego.

What a night! We worked so hard but we'll worth it! Diego loved volunteering!

We worked so hard this day. We were volunteering for Project 150 packing turkey dinners. We boxed over 1700 that night, Diego stuck it out till the end!!

We are so sorry for your loss. Diego was family to us and we will miss him dearly.  

He was so proud of the work he put in to become a barista trainer. He impacted so many new partners 

Diego participated in community service and helped put together boxes to ship over seas to our military. He was a great support to this veteran organization. He was always putting others first

Always surrounded by those who loved him. And everyone loved him

Always working so hard and helping keep the positive energy rolling. Everyone always wanted to work with Diego-

Diego and Brianna. I hand made this scarf for him and he was so appreciative. He wore it year after year 

Another year of being our store’s barista champion 

Diego completing a 3 month coffee education class where he became a Coffee Master 

Diego was our store’s barista champion and even represented our store in the district wide championship where he was cheered on by so many of his friends and co workers. He was loved by all

Diego was celebrated at work over and over. He was a high achiever and the best of the best 

Diego loved coffee and was a servant leader at Starbucks. He showed everyone the most genuine and generous love 

Diego was a friend to all and worked for Starbucks for around 7 years. He was a trainer to so many new folks, he helped train new baristas for other stores, he was a barista champion, he was a coffee master. The sweetest of souls 

Early in his 7 year Starbucks career l. Always readjusted joy, kindness and patience. He had a graceful ease in everything he did
