Dennis Minoru Sakamoto passed away at the age of 68. He was born and grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii, then became a long-time resident of Las Vegas, Nevada.
There will be a public memorial service on Saturday, September 21 at 12:00 pm with a reception to follow, at Palm Southwest Mortuary. We ask that anyone with fond memories and stories feel free to attend and share. The family also welcomes guests to wear their favorite Aloha shirt or nice business casual attire.
Dennis served in the U.S. Army and later worked at the VA Hospital Las Vegas before his retirement. He will be remembered for his laughter and fun-loving spirit, love of life and travel, and most of all his passion for bowling.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Lorelei; brother, Douglas M. Sakamoto; son, Alexander; daughter, Nicole Bishop (husband Derik); and grandchildren, Jade, Jasmine, Alex Jr. and Kai.
