Dennis Edmund Holl, 76, of Henderson, NV, passed away peacefully at home with his beloved wife Lorraine at his side, holding his hand. Early that morning, God granted his final wish and carried him to heaven, free of all pain.
Dennis and Lorraine were married in 1995 and resided in South Hadley, MA, and West Dennis, MA, before retiring to Henderson, NV, in 2015.
Dennis retired as co-owner of Millrite Machine in Westfield, MA, where he and his partner, Bob Valcourt, spent many late afternoons in “deep” discussions sharing a drink or two.
Dennis will be especially missed by Lorraine, children Sheileen Coggins (Dan Roberts) and Bill Richards (Cindy Landes). He can still be heard saying, “Bill, meet me at the Side Bar”. He was Den-Den to Conor and Paige Coggins, his grandchildren who brought such joy, love and fun to his life.
He will be missed by his sister Diane Horan (Fred), along with his nephews Matt and Chris Horan who he loved dearly and thankful to Matt for introducing him to Sebastian Maniscalco. Dennis is also loved and remembered by his many friends and extended family.
Dennis, everyone you left in this world hates that you are gone but happy that you are free of pain. We will always love and miss you until we meet again.
In typical Dennis fashion, he did not want any pomp and circumstance. He would like his family and friends to raise a glass to him in remembrance. However, there will be a private Church service at a later date.
“Seeing death as the end of life is like seeing the horizon as the end of the ocean.”
