With heavy hearts, we share the news of our dear mother's passing, Deborah Jean Primrose-Burr. She was an extraordinary woman, skillfully blending truth and humor, delighting in mind games, cheesy movies, and a love of music. While the ache of losing her is profound, there's solace in knowing her pain has found its end.
Born in Washington, DC, where she was loved by her parents Willie James Hall and Millie Massey Hall. She was a graduate of the University of the District of Columbia and served for 25 years in the federal government as a US Postal worker. In retirement, she embraced a new chapter in Nevada, reveling in a different environment and climate. As we navigate this loss, please know that we appreciate the outpouring of love, prayers, the kind words of comfort and strength, and we will continue forward not with tears of sorrow, but of joy that God loves us so much to have blessed us with such a wonderful mother.
She is survived by her long-time companion, Eugene Joseph Diggs, Jr., her children, James Walter Kelly, III, Tyrone Gregory Burr, Jr., Melanee LaTasha Burr, her grandchild Key Burr, her siblings Darryle Lee, Sr., Cynthia Lee, Terry Perry, and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.
From Eugene to my Pookie: THANK YOU!!!
