Dave Driscoll

David Edward Driscoll passed away on December 13, 2023 surrounded by his family. Dave was born on September 9th, 1950 in Keene, NH. Dave was raised in West Dummerston, VT along with his twin sister and brother.

Dave graduated high school in the spring of 1968 and entered into The United States Airforce on November 5th, 1968. While stationed at Nellis Airforce base in Las Vegas, NV he met Pamela Stewart, who he would go on to marry on March 26th, 1970 and then would be sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake temple on March 26th, 1971. Dave and Pam went on to have six children who they raised in Las Vegas, NV.

Dave began working for Nevada Ready Mix in Nov. of 1970 where he worked for the next 39 years. After retiring he went to work for Somerset Sky Pointe HS where he was known to all as “Grandpa”.

Dave had a love for golf, eating out and making new friends out of strangers. The best times of his life were spent razzing his kids and grandkids, attending their sporting events and quality time with his family.

Dave had a strong testimony of his Savior, Jesus Christ and loved serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in many calling throughout his years. From serving in the young men’s organization on many levels to Bishop. His greatest love was serving the youth of the church.

Dave is survived by his wife Krystal Nelson. He is also survived by his former wife Pamela Driscoll and their six children, Lisa (Ron) Barnum, Bunkerville, NV, Eric (Kristi) Driscoll, Las Vegas, NV, Christoper (Stephanie) Driscoll, Spanish Fork, UT, Aimee Kuewa, Las Vegas, NV, Natalie (Travis) Nelson, Logandale, NV, Katie Otteson, Las Vegas, NV, 27 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Donna (Tom) Smith and brother Doug (Judy) Driscoll.

Dave is preceded in death by his mother Eveleyn Driscoll, his father Edward Driscoll and his granddaughter Avery Driscoll.

A visitation for Dave will be held Saturday, December 23, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3200 N. Mustang St., Las Vegas, NV 89108. A funeral service will occur Saturday, December 23, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM, 3200 N. Mustang St., Las Vegas, NV 89108. A committal service will occur Saturday, December 23, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Palm Northwest Cemetery, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131.

Dave will be laid to rest at Palm Northwest Cemtery in the Garden of Mountain View.
