January 15th, 1950 – August 8th, 2021
Cynthia Joy Carrig, 71, of Henderson, NV, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 8th, 2021.
Cynthia was born on January 15th, 1950, in Minot, North Dakota, to Dawn and Ronald Dilley. For over thirty-five years until her retirement in 2005, Cynthia worked extensively in the casino industry. During her free time, Cynthia enjoyed traveling, golf, cooking, swimming, and most importantly, spending time with her beloved family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all, but will remain a bright light in all of our hearts forever. Cynthia is survived by her husband, Richard Carrig; son, Ryan Carrig; and many other beloved family members.
Cynthia loved all aspects of life. She will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile, her warm hugs, and her unwavering kindness to all. She never once took for granted her time on this earth and “The Dash” poem beautifully symbolizes the way in which she lived her life.
“For it matters not, how much we own, the cars… the house… the cash. What
matters is how we live and love and how we spend our dash.”
A celebration of life mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Henderson, NV, on November 2nd, 2021 at 10:00 am. A gathering of friends and family will be held immediately following the service.
