Cristy McMichael David-Lopez

Cristy McMichael David-Lopez went home to her Heavenly Father June 26, 2011. She is survived by her two sons, Brett and Christian David; mother, Crystal David; sisters, Brooke Worthen (Paul) and Tiffany Loving (Don); brother, Jerry David (Tonya); nieces, whom she loved so dearly, Whitney Worthen, Wendi Worthen and Taylor David; and nephew, Dylan David. Cristy was born Dec. 22, 1974, in Las Vegas and has been a lifelong resident. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She graduated from Valley High School in 1993 and later married Ron Lopez. Although Cristy and Ron divorced, they continued a loving relationship until her passing. After raising her two boys, she returned to school and became a registered nurse at Spring Valley Hospital. Cristy was so loved by all her friends and family. Her sweet personality made her a joy to be around. As a child, Cristy was a tender soul. She was always the peace maker. There was never a more kind and loving person. She adored her boys and was famous for playing tricks on them. She was a loyal friend - especially to her best friend, Kim Perfinski-Kovach. God blessed Cristy greatly with love and intelligence and now He is holding her and giving her peace until we can be together again. It's so hard to let you go. We will be, in this lifetime, forever incomplete. Viewing will be noon-1 p.m. Saturday, July 2, with services following, both at Palm
