Cris Henry Bongiorno was born on July 7th, 1969 in Clifton, NJ to Donald and Irene Bongiorno. He grew up in Little Falls, and Wayne, NJ. He also spent wild, endless summers along the Jersey Shore where he built a legend that will rival that of Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, and any of those clowns. Cris attended High School at Neumann Prep in Wayne, NJ and graduated with a degree in Environmental Ecology from Boston University in 1991. Cris enjoyed surfing, travel, music, movies, people and long nights of conversation, laughter and pondering the ways of the world. Cris Bongiorno was filled with life, love and a boundless and unquenchable spirit of fun and adventure. He was blessed with a unique and magnetic personality, a contagious smile and an infallible gift for lifting the spirits of everyone around him. In his tragically short life, Cris has built, nurtured and maintained more friendships than one could ever attempt to count. He touched the lives of everyone he met, everywhere he went, and he traveled the world doing exactly that. People who met him came to love him, and never ever stopped. Cris settled for a number of years in Los Cabos, Mexico where he would meet his bride-to-be and start a family. They would later move back to the United States and make a home in Las Vegas, NV. He left this world on May 11th, 2013. He leaves behind his loving wife Nora, his beautiful children, son Marcello and daughter Mia, his proud and adoring mother Rene Bongiorno, and a world filled with people who will forever sing his praises as the greatest friend the world has ever known.
