Claudia was born to Walter and Marie Zwolinski on September 18th, 1934. She went to Five Holy Martyrs Elementary School, and Holy Family Academy All Girls School in Chicago. She met and married William (Bill) Trujillo in 1955, a well-known jazz musician who was a featured tenor saxophonist on many big bands, including Woody Herman and Stan Kenton.
Claudia was a stay at home mom for most of their marriage, raising 3 children, Nick, Michelle and Lisa. She volunteered for many charitable organizations including the children's private catholic schools, Our Lady of Las Vegas and Bishop Gorman High School. She contributed her time and compassionate heart as a Eucharistic Minister for many years at St. Viator's Catholic Church, serving at mass as well as delivering communion to homes and hospice care. Claudia was very involved with Catholic Worker and volunteered her time serving the homeless in the community.
Claudia is preceded in death by her son, Nicholas Trujillo. She is survived by her spouse, Bill Trujillo, and her two daughters, Michelle Khachadoorian, and Lisa Holiday. In addition, grandchildren, Jennifer Halliday, Deana Holiday Davis, and Skyler Khachadoorian. Great grandchildren, Dade Torgerson, Orion Torgerson, Jacob Halliday and Lexi Davis.
A memorial service for Claudia will be held Sunday, September 8, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Eastern, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
