Christopher "Mr. Fun" John Frye, age 60, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024. Chris was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late John and Mary Frye. He earned his Bachelors Degree from Old Dominion University where he was a proud member of the ATO Fraternity.
He is married to Candice Faith Frye, and they were married on April 19, 2014. He worked for Citigroup in the mortgage division as a Deputy Chief Underwriter for almost 30 years.
Chris is an avid football fan and loves his Pittsburgh Steelers. The Philadelphia Eagles were a close second. He enjoyed going to rock concerts with his wife and he called her his wing woman because she was always up for the things he enjoyed doing. Chris also loved to golf. He golfed with his buddies almost every weekend, which is why he loved living in Las Vegas so much, the weather cooperated. There was rarely a weekend that he wasn't seen on the golf course! He loved traveling to Mexico with his wife and friends and made sure there was at least one trip a year.
Chris is survived by wife, Candice Frye; his son Alex Frye, his daughter, Nicole Hindman and her husband, Jeffrey Hindman, his daughter Danielle Seagrave, his grandchildren Paige Hindman, Lucy Hindman, and Trip Hindman, his sister Deanna Ellenbark, his niece Melissa Crew and her husband George Crew, his niece Lexi Crew, and nephews, Shawn Roberts, Matthew Roberts, John Ellenbark and Austin Crew. Chris was also predeceased by his brother, Kevin Frye.
A visitation for Chris will be held Friday, February 16, 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 16, 2024 at 10:00 AM, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A committal service will occur Friday, February 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Palm Eastern Cemetery, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
