Cheryl Jean Ewing

Cheryl was born to Herberta Carolyn Brooks and Rex Cromwell Ewing Jr. on December 6, 1961; she had 7 siblings. Cheryl grew up in Las Vegas and graduated from Rancho High School in 1979 and later attended UNLV.

In 1980, Cheryl and Jeffrey Garth Frehner welcomed their daughter, Morgan Michelle Frehner, into their family. Though the couple later divorced, Cheryl was a dedicated mother who taught her daughter the importance of self reliance, following your heart and getting a good education.

Part owner in the family business, Ewing Bros, Inc., Cheryl was loyal, hardworking, and fiercely independent. An animal lover, Cheryl cared for many horses, dogs and cats in her lifetime. She loved the ocean, the mountains and Lake Tahoe.

Cheryl is survived by her mother, Herberta Brooks; her sister, Debbie Achtizger; her brothers, Rex Ewing III (Judy), Jay Ewing (Melodie), and Craig Ewing; her daughter, Morgan Baldwin (Devin); her granddaughters, Antigone Baldwin and Avianna Baldwin; her grandson, Alexander Baldwin; in addition to several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Rex Ewing Jr.; her brothers, David Achtizger, Roy Ewing and Randy Ewing; and her niece, Trisha Littlejohn.
