Charlie Brown, 73, of Las Vegas, passed away Friday, Apr. 1, 2016. He was born on Sept. 4, 1942, to Jay and Cammie Brown in Benton, TN. His parents raised him in Kingman, KS. Charlie had two brothers: Burch and Levi, and two sisters: Linda and Judy. He is survived by his wife, Maggie; son, Chad; daughters, Saundra, Lea and Brenda; and five grandchildren. Charlie reveled in the security of family and took no other responsibility more serious than keeping his family safe. Charlie was a Petty Officer Third Class in the Navy and served on the U.S.S. Fort Marion (LSD-22). His occupation was as a Construction Foreman. He was employed for seven years at M.J. Dean; and 14 years at MJ Dibiase. Charlie lived out the motto of “Give me a job, and I will get it done right.” Visitation will be 10 – 11 a.m. Monday, Apr. 11. Services to follow immediately after, both at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne, Las Vegas, NV 89129. Burial following, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, NV. Lord be with you Charlie Brown. We’ll see you again in heaven.
