I had the pleasure to know Charles professionally and personally and I am comforted by the thought that one day I will get to know him heavenly. Can't wait to go dancing with him again one day.

Charles was more than just a friend to me. He was like my lil older brother. More mature than me, more confident than me, more open minded than me… so many great qualities that I one day wished to possess. Over our time in Utah, I started to understand that Charles wasn’t someone who tried hard to be all those things. He was just his 100% authentic self. He inspired me to be myself, in a time when I was very, very unsure of who I actually was. Charles saved my life many times over and I tried my best to show my appreciation for his friendship. I don’t think I could have ever truly repaid him for all he did for me. No amount of money would be enough, in my mind. I pray that I get to see my brother again in the next life. But until then I will always miss my G Chuck. 🖤

For fifteen wonderful years I was lucky enough to call Charles my best friend. My family and I loved him deeply and will treasure his memory for the rest of our lives. Our condolences to his mother and sisters and to all the people affected by his passing. 

It was such a blessing to meet Charles. Someone so caring, so positive, hardworking. There’s so many great memories we share. And every  memory we share is something I will forever cherish. Thank you for all the nights we had watching anime and playing video games till one of us fell asleep. 
Thank you for always being my dancing buddy when we went festivals or concerts. Thank you for just spending time with me and enjoying each others company. Just thank you for being you.
