Charles Bingley Goodwin left this world on April 21, 2013. Charles was born December 23, 1928 in Hutchinson, Kansas. He served in the US Navy, in the reserves and in the Korean War. He went to barbering school, learned jewelry design, and worked as a salesman, first traveling and later starting his own business selling photo supplies. He found his calling in real estate sales and property management and founded Goodwin Realty, Inc. in Portland, Oregon. Upon retiring, Charles settled in Las Vegas, Nevada. Charles was enthusiastic about life and will be remembered for his enjoyment of boating, camping, fishing, flying, driving his Corvette, and his culinary tastes (we'll miss "Charlie's Chili"). He was an avid pilot, skipper, and wonderful dancer. Charles is survived by three daughters: Susan, Diane, and Michelle; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Ted. A memorial service is being held at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada, on May 17, 2013 at 12:40 pm.
