Charles Bonnici, born Feb. 1 1954, passed away Nov. 9, 2012. Charlie succumbed to renal cancer at 58 years young in Las Vegas. He was raised by his parents, Charlie and Tessie Bonnici, in Livonia, Mich., with his six brothers and sisters. Charlie married Jeri Bennett in 1977 and went on to have four children. Throughout his life in Michigan, Charlie enjoyed such things as horse racing, bowling, car-racing in the NHRA, and coaching little league football. Charlie and his family relocated to Las Vegas in 1996, where he came to work with his brother Tony and extended family at Lotus Broadcasting as an advertising executive. He loved Snowballs, Orange Crush, and not eating vegetables! Charlie was survived by his wife, Jeri; daughters, Christine, Stephanie (Corey) and Jackie; son, Jared; grandson, Griffin; and the brightest light in his life, his granddaughter, Haven. Charlie was also survived by his mother, Theresa; brothers, Bill, Tony (Linda) and Eric; and sisters, Jane (Walt), Dee and Margie. Charlie will be missed by all whose lives he touched. Services for Charlie will be noon-3 p.m., Friday, Nov. 16, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89123. Celebration of life gathering to follow.
