Cathy Ann Kuhn, 66, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away at her home Friday, March 8, 2019. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 12, 1952 to Roy William Rosencrans Jr. and Marilyn Ethel Rosencrans (Miller). She married Kerry Kuhn in 1971, and they lived together in the northern suburbs of Chicago, Illinois where they owned and operated Sgt. Peppers Pizzeria and Pub, where she met many life long friends, before retiring and relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1999. Cathy enjoyed shopping, hosting bbq's and pool parties, going to the casino with friends, and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids, attending many of their sporting events and activities. She was a big sports fan of the Chicago Bears, Chicago Blackhawks and especially the Chicago Cubs and more recently, the Vegas Golden Knights. She watched many of her Chicago teams on TV and occasionally caught a game in person on their western swing to San Diego, Los Angeles, and Phoenix. Cathy was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn Rosencrans; stepfather, Jim Hansen; and father, Bill Rosencrans; as well as her brother, John Rosencrans. She is survived by her loving husband, Kerry Kuhn; son, Michael Kuhn of Las Vegas; brother, Bob Rosencrans of Buffalo Grove, IL; grandchildren, Tyler Kuhn, Ava Kuhn, Addison Kuhn, Kendall Kuhn, and their mother Maria Kuhn, all of Las Vegas; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Don Kuhn (Toni), Mick Kuhn (Kathy), and Barb Kuhn; as well as many nieces and nephews. Cathy was a wonderful wife, beloved mother, and adored grandmother and will live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
