CARY CASEY Cary Casey (aka Cary Chapas in high school), 65, was born to William Casey and Patricia Parrish in Corpus Cristi, Texas, Oct. 17, 1945, and passed away June 24, 2011. Cary was a Vegas resident several times, but in total lived here over 30 years. Cary served honorably in the 101st Airborne during Vietnam after being drafted off an oil rig in Alaska. He then got his degree from UNLV. After that, Cary found his place at the Las Vegas Valley Water District, and worked there from August 1985-June 2011 as the director of finance, and later the treasurer of the SNWA as well. He was an accomplished skier, could build anything, and is the reigning State Senior Golf Champion. He was a beloved friend, boss, brother, husband, and father; we will always remember him for his many contributions to us all. He is survived by his brother, Kevin; father, William; son, Connor and his wife, Jennifer; his daughter, Evan; and his wife, Heather.
