Carole "CeCe" Lynn Miller Vandever, 69, a proud native of Las Vegas, passed away April 22, 2017. She was born March 27, 1948 in Las Vegas to Las Vegas native Dorothy Jean Dillehunt and Carroll Orville Miller. She attended Las Vegas City Grammar School, then West Charleston Elementary. Carole was in the 1966 graduating class of Western High School. She was predeceased by her parents; and brother, Gordon Dean Miller. She is survived by her husband, of 43 years, Barry Vandever; their favorite daughter, Lizza Marie Brotherson Castro; sons, Bradley Ray Brotherson, John Barry Vandever, Thomas Allen Vandever and James Bryan Vandever; 18 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Carole is also survived by her brothers, Mike Rizer of Reno and Douglas Kirk Miller of Las Vegas; sister, Linda Miller Mesinar of Las Vegas; two nieces and two nephews. In 1978 Carole and husband, Barry, began B & C Auto, which is still operational. The pair enjoyed their large family at their home in Las Vegas and at their cabin in the mountains of Beaver, Utah, where they enjoyed summer and winter activities. A Celebration of Life is planned from 4-6 p.m., Friday, May 5 at Willows Community Center, 2775 Desert Marigold Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89135.
