CAROL HORNBECK Loving wife, mother and grandmother, Carol Sue Hornbeck, 67, of Las Vegas, passed away May 10, 2011. She was born Aug. 19, 1943, in Oregon City, Ore., and was a 56-year resident of Nevada. Carol is preceded by her husband of 36 yrs, Stanley R. Hornbeck, of Las Vegas, and is survived by daughter, Carrie Castro of Las Vegas; sons, Stan Hornbeck Jr. of Buhl, Idaho and Jason Hornbeck of Las Vegas; and grandchildren, TJ and Aaron Castro. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. The family asks that all gifts and memorials are in the form of donations to the American Cancer Society , Las Vegas Chapter.
