Carmen Brunilda Perez, age 85, beloved wife of the late Luis Florencio Perez Sr., died peacefully on March 8, 2020 at Ohana Senior Living in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born in Quebradillas, PR on September 4, 1934, Carmen moved to New York in 1954 where she married her one and only love Luis Sr., who proudly served in the United States Air Force for 20 years. Carmen and her family moved to Las Vegas on August 8th of 1971. A devout catholic, Carmen loved spending time with her family, tending to her exotic rose garden, rotating her seemingly endless collection of figurines, singing and dancing.
She is survived by her son Luis F. Perez Jr., her daughter Anna H. Wysocki and her husband Edward, her devoted daughter and caregiver Dyalma B. Rodriguez and her husband Daniel, daughter Barbara D. Perez, adoring granddaughters, Melissa A.Potter and Lindsey M. Blazevich; great-grandchildren Tyson and Xavier Potter, Scarlet and Violet Blazevich; as well as her sister Teresa Butler.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her beautiful daughter Aida Luz Perez, mother Anna Maria Arroyo, and father Tomas Butler.
The family wishes to express their sincere and eternal gratitude to Carmen's friend and caregiver, Amalia Burgara for the compassionate care and unconditional love she gave her during the last 8 eight years of her life.
Services will be held at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, April 16, 2020 at 3 PM.
