Carmela Herzog, 72, a retired quality control inspector, of Las Vegas, passed away February 26, 2013. She was born August 29, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York and had been a resident of Nevada since 1997. Mela is survived by her daughter, Christine O’Connor; grandson, Robert O’Connor; sisters, Nancy (Santo) Difiglia, Connie (Frank) Puma, Rosie (Nat) Galatioto; and sister-in-law, Rosemary Lina. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Robert Herzog; her sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Joe Agostinacchio, and her brother-in-law, Tony Lina. A memorial service will be held on March 15th at 10:00am at St. Joseph Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada 89117.
