Cousin, it's been 4 years since you left this earth for your heavenly home.  You will never be forgotten, you will be included in our family history and known for generations to come.

You've been on my mind a lot and I know we weren't the closest as I got older but man I do miss you pops.🤦🏾‍♂️ It's been hard lately and I just wish you were here so we can talk, hoop and crack our jokes.

To my son, I miss you dearly.  There is a void in my life and a hole in my heart. You grew up to be a kind man, with a beautiful personality, devoted to your children. I know in my heart you are watching over all of us, When the good Lord calls my name, through the grace of God I will see you again!

I do not remember meeting you because I have always known you.  You were my childhood friend, from watching television at my grandmother’s house or playing hide and go seek or tag outside.  You were the first person who really “saw” me.  There was never a dull moment with you.  We always smiled and laughed together.  You were my basketball buddy.  I remember when playing basketball, I would laugh so hard at times that water would come out of my nose.  You were the one who I would go to see when I was supposed to be at school (sorry mom and dad).  I would come and visit you and we would watch soup operas and play dominos.

You were my teenage crush; my first love.  When we were young, so often we would hide from our family the times that we shared.  It crushed my heart when our time together ended but I understood.  When we would talk from time-to-time we never skipped a beat; we would often laugh and talk about old times and our families.  Although our lives took us on different paths and it has been so many years since we have seen each other, you have always been my friend.  I could not believe when I heard the news.  I feel so robbed of the conversations we would have had, talking about our children and our grandchildren.  I love and miss you my friend.  I know that you are at peace and I will always remember the times and memories that we shared.  Rest in Love and may God comfort, watch over and protect your mother,  your family and friends.

Some people in this world, make impressions without doing anything too showy. Brian always had his beloved 49's somewhere near and as we would pass in the halls he would razz me for my Seahawk support...but always with a smile that would tell you that behind it all...he had a light that glowed from within. 
Brian was a man that I did not know extremely well...I wouldn't demean his true friends' friendship by calling him a friend, because we just passed in hallways on our ways to meetings/work and so forth.
But Brian walked the halls of UHC with a light that glowed from within that illuminated and brightened those around him. His smile was genuine and bright. While I didn't know him well...I knew the type of man that he was/is. 
I believe he still looks down on those of his family and his light will guide those blessed to be in his family/friend circle forevermore.
Thank you Brian for being the type of man that exemplified being an ambassador of the cultural values that we talk about at UHC...but you WERE them, not just spoke of them.
My sincerest condolences and best wishes to his family (especially his wife and children [step or otherwise]). May God bless you with peace and continued love in your lives for always and forever.

Brian and I would pass each other in the hallway, greet each other and smile about the possibilities of our football teams this season.  He loved his 49ers as much as I loved my Lions.  He would chuckle about the possibilities of our teams getting to the Super Bowl.  We laughed as I told him that maybe the grandkids of my grandkids would see my Lions in the Super Bowl!!!  To the Washington family, we lift you up in prayer during this time of grief.  We pray the Lord fills the void in your lives left by his passing.

BW-Your absence on campus will be noticed. Your bright smile, and smooth talking ways will be missed. You had just the best vibe about you and can instantly make a room full of people feel connected, it was your friendly personality.

It is with great sadness to hear of the loss of Brian.  Brian was such a nice guy. My heart goes out to his children and his entire family. 

Brian loved the San Francisco 49ers. Almost every time I saw him he would be smiling with his 49ers gear on especially during football season.

I was so shocked to hear of Brian's passing. Sending heartfelt condolences and prayers for Brian's family and loved ones. Brian was a nice guy who always had a smile on his face. He would always say hi to me when I saw him around at the office. Rest in peace, Brian!

My heart felt condolences to your family. I can't believe you're gone. You were such a gentleman and a friend. You brightened up the room with your presence and smile. I know you're resting easy now King as you rejoice in heaven in the presence of God. Till we meet again brother/friend......You will be missed. 

Brian always acknowledged people he knew whether he knew them a lot or a little.  He always said more than a greeting.  His sincerity allowed others to be more than just another person.  One sentence became two, two became three, three tripled to nine, nine became more than acquaintances.  I'm glad to have known him.  His smile is beyond description.

Brian my cousin was such a game player wanting to win all the time and when he lost, he would say "Let's play again". We would have to keep playing so he could say "I WON"  HA ! HA! with his Smile.

Brian you always brought a smile with you everywhere you went! You are one of those very few genuine people in the world! You will be so very missed by so many! I am so blessed to have met you! Words cannot express how shocked I am to hear of Brian's passing, such a nice person with a beautiful and sincere smile everytime I saw him in passing at work. I worked with Brian at United Healthcare, he was such a sweet guy. I would stand at his desk and talk to him, and completely lose track of time sometimes. I am incredibly heartbroken. He will be greatly missed! 

My heart is sad to hear about Brian's passing.  I would always see him around the office and he was always joking and had a smile for everyone.    Sending family much love and healing prayers to his familyand love ones.  


Brian you were always smiling and was true to yourself.  I remember talking poker tournaments with you and how excited you got about them when we did.  He was a supportive co-worker who was so helpful.  Brian was such a positive person it is hard to believe he is gone.  My heartfelt condolences to everyone in Brian's family.  

Over the past week and a half I’ve tried to collect my thoughts... it’s impossible. Brian aka B-Wash was full of spirit and energy. You never knew what you were going to get with B-Wash, but you knew you were in for a treat. My heart is heavy and I send my deepest condolences to Brian’s family. He was an incredible man and aimed to please. He was my play by play Niners buddy while I was his play by play Knights buddy. Brian left his foot prints at UHC. He is deeply missed and forever loved. 

I work at UnitedHealthcare and would see Brian all the time in the cafeteria. He was always smiling and so very nice.  Always took a moment to have a conversation.  My heart goes out to Sherri and family.

My sincerest  condolences. Words will never fill the pain you are feeling by this sudden loss.  I am glad to have meet Brian and will miss seeing him around the office. He spoke of his children often and was always so proud of all they had done, never doubt that.

Brian was a super awesome  person. He was a gentleman, a friend, a co-worker.  He was great to be around and always had time to make me laugh and smile. My heart and prayers go out to his family and friends.  He will be greatly missed!

We used to see each other on the road before and after work and sometimes ran into each other in the grocery store.  We used to joke about stalking each other. He had a great smile as the picture here shows... although sometimes that smile looked a little mischievous! I met Brian just earlier this year through one of his cousins and we hit it off right from the jump. Brian was a passionate (especially with his family and  49ers) and kind man with an engaging smile that made us smile. He enjoyed making others feel better. 
Although you are in a better place and no longer in pain, you are sorely missed on this Earth.

I have the greatest memory of my cousin, Brian.  He has a contagious smile and a big heart. His smile brightens the room and has always been there since he was a kid.  I remember when Brian's mom would give him a BIG kiss and he would grin from ear-to-ear.  I got a kick out of Brian feeling a little embarrassed when his mom kissed him in front of all of us.  (He loved it!!) He has a special place for his wife, mom, kids and grand-kids! He loved his family very much.  Wow, Brian is way-ahead of me regarding grand-kids.  I'm so glad to have seen Brian at his mom's 70th birthday party and saw the joy he had in making that day special for her.  Rest peacefully my dear cousin.

I had the blessing to grow up with Brian being the funniest and most entertaining cousin anyone could ask for. He has always been so thoughtful and considerate. It never mattered  how much time existed between our calls, it was just like we talked the week before. We never missed a beat just laughed or cried at how much that had happened in between.  A wonderful human being gone too soon that will be missed and remembered.

Brian and I worked together, and he had the most infectious smile!  I loved his spirit, he was always smiling and had a kind word to say.  

He was especially high in spirit during the time leading up to his 49ers (my husband's team too) playing in this years Super Bowl!  

You will be missed, gone way too soon!  My most sincere condolences to the family!  May you lean on God for comfort and peace.

He was such a nice guy. Always had a smile on his face. We would talk sports passing each other by the copy machine. So sad to hear this. My condolences to the family! 

I called him Bishop for years before ever knowing his  name. It would make him laugh every time I spoke to him. He reminded me of Bishop  Noel Jones and I told him to look up his family tree because he might be related to him. Eventually I started calling him by his name. Brian I am going to miss you. Your smile at work was unforgettable. Whether it was on the elevator, in the cafeteria or simply while crossing each other's paths.  You will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace my Friend.

Brian was a gem and I will miss seeing his big, beautiful smile every weekday. He was always happy and kind to everyone. I enjoyed talking football with him and sharing stories about our kids. He was so proud of his family.
