It is with great sadness that the family mourns the death of Brandon Harrison Farber, who died unexpectedly July 10, 2023, at the young age of 24. Brandon, a lifelong resident of Henderson, was born Jan. 8, 1999. He graduated from UNLV in May with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and was employed as a junior accountant at Sapphire Corp. Instead of holding a graduation party for Brandon and his younger sister, Harley, who graduated in May from Green Valley High School, the family took its first trip to Europe. Highlights of the trip included attending the French Open and visiting Disneyland Paris and The Colosseum in Rome. Brandon loved playing and watching sports. As a student at Green Valley High School, he played on the basketball and tennis teams. He also enjoyed volleyball, hiking, traveling, surfing, snowboarding, gaming, WWE, karaoke and Disneyland. It was his goal to attend all the Disneylands in the world. He lived a great life that was full of adventure, such as parasailing in Mexico and zip lining in Hawaii. He recently returned from a trip to Huntington Beach, CA, where he spent his time surfing and wave running. Brandon was a huge fan of the Vegas Golden Knights and was happy to share a birthday with player William Karlsson. He celebrated with thousands of other fans at the team’s Stanley Cup Championship Parade on June 17 on the Las Vegas Strip. He was also a big fan of the Phoenix Suns, the New Orleans Saints and Louisiana State University. While in college, Brandon worked as a front desk associate for a couple of years at Lifetime Green Valley. He could often be seen playing basketball there with his father, Charlie, or hitting tennis balls with his sister. His mother, Dawn, is employed there, and the family has been active in the valley’s tennis community for decades. Brandon was a wonderful son and big brother who loved to play jokes on his sister, and he was a good friend to many. In addition to his parents and sister, who live in Henderson, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Iris Fields of Henderson, and paternal grandmother, Susie Estrada of Las Vegas. Visitation will be 10:30-11:30 am, Sun., July 23, with services following, both at Palm Mortuary Eastern, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89123.
