Bobby C. Pittman-Summers was born on January 23, 1960 to Jeremiah Pittman and the late Willie Mae Pittman in Fernwood, Mississippi. She departed this life well lived on Monday, October 18, 2010 at the age of 50.
Bobby attended elementary in Magnolia and high school at South Pike High in Magnolia, Mississippi. Bobby was actively involved on both track and basketball teams throughout school.
Bobby, at the early age, accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Saviour and was baptized by immersion at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in McComb, MS. She moved to Las Vegas, Nevada on September 27th, 1986 where her sister Neitha Pittman resided. Bobby was joined in holy matrimony with Wayne Earl Summers on February 14, 1987, where the two shared 23 years of faithful marriage. Where you saw Wayne, you saw Bobby. They love each others company and shared great moments together. Bobby joined Calvary Southern Baptist Church in 1998, where she has been a faithful member until the Lord called her home.
Bobby was employed by Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel and Casino in 1986. Bobby completed 24 years of employment work for the flamingo where her last job assignment was Housekeeping Supervisor. Bobby’s outgoing spirit was well received by her co-workers and her friends. Bobby enjoyed interior decorating around her home and various other home projects. Several close friends and family referred to bobby as “Bob the Builder” for her out outstanding home improvement ideas.
Bobby's also shared unconditional love for her three children. Natasha Mosby, Carlos Pittman and Kashif Summers. Bobby made sure her children came first in her life. She supported each in all things they completed in life and never missed special events. Bobby was able to see to it that all her children graduated high school and went on to college. Bobby was very proud of all her children.
