Bill was one of my favorite people.
I was a client and a friend of his for over 30 years. I do remember visiting him in his office and he would always be smoking a cigarette. I often wondered about that but he obviously enjoyed it, 
Bill was one of the worthwhile  attorneys in Las Vegas and he gave each client his all. He was a winner in more ways than one.

Bill was more than our family friend or our family Atty., he was FAMILY...  I had known Bill all my life, his best friends of over 40 yr.'s were my father Mike Garrison, my Uncle Ron Wielechowski, Dick Reese who ran the Boys, Spring Mt. Youth Camp and Martial Artist Sensei Wally Borkowski. The five were part of what they called the "25 yr. click" this name continued 20 yrs. past the 25th yr. and celebrated at their Mt. Charleston cabin, a place they bought together, and I have so many fond memories of all the celebrations we shared, anniversaries, birthdays, the occasional Holiday and of course anytime Bill got one of them or us, the next generation, out of trouble. LOL. Always celebrated Easter at Bills and Christmas Eve at our house. Uncle Ron played the Easter Bunny and Santa. I was blessed to have had all of them in my life, the most honorable, respected, selfless, caring, and generous men I have ever known, it is the end of an era, I picture them all together, having a drink, watching the Rebels play... LOL, while continuing to watch over us and intervene whenever they feel it is warranted each with their own special expertise, like a "Super Power", continuing to protect us as they always have. I love you and will miss you, thank you for being you and for all you did to impact my life and so many others, for the better, even in the end, you were helping me out, guiding me on a legal issue not even hinting towards your declining health until after you were sure I had and knew all I needed before telling me, God Bless and say hi to the other's, see you Love Maria Garrison

Great memories of Bill when he was an AUSA.  A standup, honorable and ethical man.

I'm bummed. Bill was a great guy and so well respected in the legal community. He was always so kind greeting me in Municipal Court. He was always so well prepared for court and trial. My condolences to his family.

To the Family of William "Bill" Terry. I just learned of Mr. Terry's passing today. I was a client, but he treated me as though I was more than that. In the worst time of my life, spending time with Mr. Terry gave me hope that he would be by my side against the odds. Thank you God, William Bill Terry was there for me when no else was. Thank you to the Family for sharing such a wonderful person.

I worked with Bill Terry’s mother Jan Atol for ten years , and when my boyfriend, now husband needed an attorney, Jan called her son 
And Bill was on it. 
The day in court , the officer and court recorder and judge saw my husband with Bill Terry , and my husband was taken aside with Bill and 5minutes later , case done and over with. 
Just Bill Terry ‘s presence was enough to shift the outcome, I have very fond memories of working with his mother. Thru her n that day in court I know he was a powerful attorney and such a good guy! 
We remember him always. RIP and kiss your mom for me 🙏💋

I was so shocked to hear of Bill's passing. He was a great employer to work for and the almost six years I worked for him I will always cherish. He treated his staff like family. He will be greatly missed. RIP, Bill. We love and miss you.

So very sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. He truly was the “Best of the Best”! Enjoyed many conversations with Bill over the years, but some of the best memories were when we were much younger & both of us were working at the Riviera Hotel. Bill looked so good manning the Prime Rib station at the buffet with his white chef’s  hat & white outfit & he would always slice me a generous piece of Prime. Remembering my older sister typing his term paper all night, as it was due the next day while he was at Nevada Southern. Lots of stories, but most of all, the memories of Bill shall remain in my ❤️ forever! Thanks for all the guidance you gave the Barry’s over the years. My son still believes that your talks & advice had the most influence  in his life...Save me a seat at your table & I look forward in seeing you again in Heaven. Bill B.

I first met you at a birthday party when I was a new attorney.  Another attorney from my law school invited me as her plus 1.  She said you were a big deal, old time attorney.  Little did I know how big of a deal you were.  I was just a new attorney who didn't quite fit in with the other attorneys.

It was at your birthday party that I had my first experience with truffles.  Truffle ravioli... I have been an avid fan of truffle anything ever since.  Thank you for the intro.

As a new attorney, I was clerking at the courthouse for a judge.  I would park downtown at the parking garage and one day coming out of the parking garage, I almost ran you over.  I remembered you from your party.  You flailed your hands up in the air and just laughed it off.  Not upset.  That was just you, always joyful, always down to earth.  No matter how successful you were, you never let it get to your head.

You were one of the good guys that everyone admired, looked up to, someone who cared, and everybody got along with.  We need more attorneys like you.

You will be missed.

Writing thru tears . One of the Great Ones. I  saw  Bill just a few months ago,  we talked about current events friends and family expeditiously.  An old endearing moment came up from near 30 years ago  Bill  after a Hail Mary pass delivered like a Cobra strike in court flipped cadence of case right around, had court move to dismiss and prosecution gasping for air. 
Leaving I told Bill I was buying him a  James Bond zero style brief case he earlier admired.   Bill stopped and admonished me saying " Do No such thing that brief case is my armor its me". I admired him even more I thought earlier I couldn't but he got me. Endearing, Enduring member of the community  a great one. I will miss you Bill we all will. see you up there someday I pray, and I will be curious about the briefcase your carrying too. Tom D

Today good byes where said to a good man.I had much  respect for Bill Terry,He was the best Attorney my parents hired on a case  of my son's, Bill saved my son and my son became a better human being because of Bill Terry's  talks with him.Mr.Terry was devoted to his job, But his utmost devotion was to his family.His office was decorated with his family. I did not know him for years and wish we had, my family and I.He was a true  good Catholic man and I will cherish the Christmas cards I have from him.Will  miss you  Mr Terry.

I had the honor and privilege to call Bill my best friend for the past 36 years. Spending time with him was very special and we always enjoyed each other’s company. I hope with all my heart that he is at peace and pain free now. I don’t think I will ever look at Las Vegas the same again now that he won’t be there. Heaven has gained another angel. Until I see you again on the other side Bill, I love you.

Bill was one of the most extraordinary persons, I’ve ever known. I have had horrible Identity theft”  He always treated me with the respect I deserved . I came from an educated background with wonderful upbringing. I know class when I see it. The angels are hovering over this man. He had many people that loved him because he was so extraordinary. I wasn’t as close to him as I would’ve liked. He was a leader among other great words.  I just noticed, He was born in Chicago. I did  not realize that. I also was born there, no wonder. Because of my identity theft, I don’t have a lot of friends. Thank you BIll Terry for being So extraordinary! and filling my life with exceptionalism. I knew Bill first when he worked as an Assistant U.S. Attorney and then had the pleasure of working with him for several years at Oscar Goodman's office.

He was one of the finest and nicest attorneys I have ever known.  He made the profession look good - not always an easy task.  He was intelligent, organized, kind spirited and brilliant.

I will never forget him and I hope to see him again the other side of eternity.

It always amazed me that when I called his office, he'd drop everything and pick up the phone.   His warmth, support and intelligence was unsurpassed. I extend my condolences and love to his family. Mr. Terry is exceptional person. A very positive and calming voice. He helped me when I needed help with my son and and had a great way of explaining how his choices  would define him. Deepest condolences Bill was one of the most giving kindness people, he was a friend of father lawyer I was so shocked  I thought the worst was over when he went through his heart problem last year he was always fighting for the underdog . My son in so many ways grew  to be a better man. When my son  and I found out we both were in tears we truly loved Bill they’ll never be another Bill Terry he was there for  the little things and the big things but the point is he was always there to be on your side his laughter ,knowledge, pure sense of law and faith and  his sense of humor will being a missed  he truly was the number one lawyer and Friend ,father and grandfather we can’t begin  to  thank you for everything  My condolences to his family we will always carry a piece of you in our heart all our love rip

I am saddened to hear of your loss.  Having worked for the Division of Parole and Probation for 18 plus years, I have had cases where Bill was on the other side of courtroom.  I will always remember how hard he always fought for his clients and knew I had to be prepared.

Despite how hard he was on me in court, I truly respected him and would always say hi to him when I saw him in the court house; even though I didn’t have a case with him.  

I will miss him.  My heart and condolences go out to your entire family.  

I looked up to Mr Terry as my father.   He asked why I was so nervous & I replied “I feel like I’m talking to my Dad”....or worse,  since I knew he truly cared.  I appreciate everything he represented me for.  He will be missed!  RIP see you when I get there.  Condolences to all family members❤️

     I worked with Mr. Terry in the Henderson Municipal Court for many years, and he was the kindest, most polite, professional and talented attorney to ever to grace our courtroom.   
       He wilI always be remembered.

Bill asked me to pray in a case, which went well. I would tell him  "I am praying for you." He always said "Thank you, keep praying for me."He's been in my prayers for years. The last time I prayed, God impressed on my heart, "Jesus has him in good hands and care."

My most deepest, heartfelt condolences to the family.  Bill, was an  extraordinary soul and a genuine person. He helped my son and I and on a couple of occasions and we are truly great full for his help and service.  Bill was my inspiration to attend law school and he will be missed. May he rest in power.
