My name is Denise Meridith.  I was watching Jerry Seinfeld tonight when he showcased a 1963 Corvette. Yesterday I came across an old photo of Marcie Bishop. Betty, Jim, Marcie and her husband Brad, and I were all best friends back in the 1970's in Vegas.  I had a great time. I had just graduated from college, come to work for the Bureau of Land Management, and spent four years with them, hanging out with the Corvette Club--convoys to Boulder City, Sunday group car washes, lots of car shows, etc.  I had been long ago lost the address and been unsuccessful several times through the years tracking Betty or Jim down via Facebook or LinkedIn. I knew Marcie had died years ago when I was able to find a number for Brad. Tonight I decided just to start surfing the Internet for Betty, and sadly, found this obituary. I was especially saddened that I was so close time-wise to actually reconnecting with her. I would love to talk to someone in the family, maybe anyone who remembers me and that long ago time. What a smiling person Betty Ann was! She loved her family and was so proud of her sons (Jimmy and Stephen)  and thankful for her daughter in laws. She told me so many times.  Betty Ann  gave me advice when I became a grandmother 5 years ago that I will never forget.  She reminded me that every day and every moment counts. 
   
Also I can imagine her being welcomed by her heavenly Damora family sitting between Jim Slocum (love of her life) and Ro Isabella (sister and great friend) also accomponied by her brothers, mother, father and sister.

RIP Betty Ann and Jimmy and Stephen, please think how she has a whole family ready to welcome her. She will be missed by many!
