Betty Garland, 83, passed away May 14, 2013. She was born in Kentucky on April 2, 1930 and was a longtime resident of Las Vegas. Affectionately known as “Mamaw, ”Betty is survived by her children, George Garland, Jr. (Sandy), Lottie Disque (Larry), Danny Garland (Debbie), Bobby Garland (Melody), David Garland (Lisa), Mary McMahon (Dennis), Harry Garland, Billy Garland (Jamie) and Wanda Gail Wedekind (Keven). Three sisters, twenty grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren survive her as well. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 18 from 3PM-7PM at Palm South Jones Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89146. Arrangements are under the direction of Palm South Jones Mortuary.
