I knew Bing, not from medicine, but because we shared three of his wonderful grandchildren: Sofia, Christopher and Brendan. They are Edton's and Claire's children.  Bing was their Lolo and I, their Grandma.
Bing's intelligence and his caring flow to his sons, especially to Edton, my dear son-in-law.  Thank you, Bing. Rest in peace.

During his practice at Regional Medical Center in San Jose, I would refer to Bing any acute surgical cases such as appendicitis or simple procedures as newborn circumscisions.  And I recalled one Christmas dinner-dance party sponsored by the hospital, when we danced our worries away, with Bing and fellow pediatrician, Heidi and hubby, Joe……Rest In Peace, Dr Besosie Ganal. We’ll miss you, your laughter, your positive view of life and the world and best of all, your great, big smile always.

We loved having Tito Binggoy over at our family gatherings here in Henderson, NV. You’d find him by the karaoke with my dad and uncles. His go-to karaoke song was My Way by Frank Sinatra. 

Sending prayers and condolences. I had the honor of  being a part of the OR team and worked with Dr. Ganal during my very 1st Medical Mission which was in 2020. I was the designated Triage RN so we would often confer with one another about patients and if there was any down time he’d come out at times for small talk. He was very sweet and welcoming as I was the Newbie to the group. 

I have known Bing since 1982. Professionally, we worked together in the surgery suite. Bing was a most compassionate physician & excellent surgeon. He was always a pleasure to work with. Outside the OR, we had many animated conversations. He talked about his family, his many hobbies & the many medical missions he made back to his homeland. He will be dearly missed as a beloved grandfather, father, brother & friend. Please Rest In Peace.

Bing was such a fun, warm colleague to work with in the medical missions that he joined as a surgeon. It was hard for him to say 'no' even as we would be closing up for the day, because, in his own words..."they could have travelled so far and spent their last few pesos to get here. Yes, let me do it."

I would like to extend my deepest condolences and sympathy to the whole Ganal family. Please know that you’re in my thoughts and prayers. 
… I fondly call him Manong Bing. Our families are friends and I  remember seeing him gallivanting around in our hometown Solsona with my brothers and cousins. Manong Bing spearheaded the creation of United Solsonians International . He has shown his great leadership, commitment , sincerity and generosity  . I talked to him about 2 weeks ago as we were planning another get together this Nov 12, 2022. Oh boy!  He was soo excited and kept reminding me to call Eppie  and to take care of the caterer . Manong Bing you will be missed! Thank you for the beautiful memories! Thank you for everything!Rest in Peace.🙏

The United Solsonians International deeply regrets the sudden and untimely passing of Dr. Ganal. However, we want to express our sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. May the Lord sustain them in their grief during this time of sorrow. 
With deep gratitude, we want to acknowledge his contribution to the organization and our fellow Solsonians. Dr. Bing was a great and humble leader who went out of his way to make people feel appreciated, heard, and understood. He spearheaded the first Medical Mission in our hometown, Solsona, to help our "Kailians" as he fondly called our townmates. He took great pride in the work of his hands, evidenced by non-noticeable surgical incisions and the gratefulness of those he served.
We take comfort in knowing that even though Dr. Ganal is no longer with us, "his labors and works will follow him." We know that many people will continue to be blessed because of the labor he has put into his profession and fellow men. 


Dr Bing was one of my first Solsonian friends on FB. He became as close as a brother to me since he told me he was the son of a former Mayor of Solsona, Antonio Ganal, Sr. and a teacher Patricia Malvar Ganal. Coincidendally his mother was my English teacher in Grades 5-6, in Barcelona Elementary School. From then on. I was introduced as a member of the United Solsonians, Inc. under his leadership. I remember him for his contagious smile, humor, generosity, and passion for community service. I will miss him as all our USI members will. Thank you for the great legacy of service you leave us. Bing was a stalwart during UPMASA Medical Missions.   A “take charge” attitude solved the smallest to the biggest problems we encountered.  He will be missed but I’m sure in spirit, he will be there, multiplied many times, in our hearts and mind.   Farewell Brod! Bing, we will miss your warm smile and camaraderie.  Edith and I certainly lost the opportunity to visit you in Las Vegas. Nonetheless, we will always remember your gracious hosting in your Los Gatos home and our fundraising activities in our Northern California Chapter of UPMASA. May you Rest In Peace, my dear friend.


Bing Ganal was a gentle and kind person. He was a highly esteemed charter member and effective leader of Northern California Chapter of UPMASA; an extremely gracious host for some of our most memorable and fun gatherings in Los Gatos. His community services and medical missions were admirable. 
Bing would always talk about his town mates, his classmates, his colleagues and friends. But most of all, he would always be so proud talking about his loving family, his sons and grandchildren. 
His warm smile and caring ways will be surely missed. Rest In Peace to our dear friend.
