Our precious mother, Barbara Williams got her wings on April 14, 2022, and went to walk with the angels in heaven. She was born May 10, 1940, in Tallulah, Louisiana. Barbara has been reunited in heaven with her parents, Cleo Watkins Gray and Eddie W. Wilson, George Gray, and her brothers, Wallace Seil, James Gray, Edward “June” Wilson, and her grandson Glenn E. Williams Jr.
Barbara worked for the Clark County Juvenile Court for 30 years. She retired as a Shelter Home Coordinator. In this role, she interacted with families in the community and this was the highlight of her job. It was her passion to help others. She had an incredible work ethic that will forever be remembered.
“Ms. B,” as her grandchildren affectionately would call her, was a compassionate and caring person. Her family was her world and she treasured every moment with them. She enjoyed relaxing, traveling and gardening as it lifted her spirits and made her happy. She loved being a grandmother and proudly embraced the title. She was always there to help anyone with whatever she could, never expecting anything in return. You could call her anytime and she would be very supportive. She loved being a listening “ear” for those that just needed to talk. She had a calm and caring personality and always made people around her laugh. Her true faith in her Heavenly Father, is the foundation upon which she built her life. “Ms. B,” will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know her, and she will be forever in our hearts.
Barbara leaves to cherish her memories; her children; Tammy (James) Randolph, Rachelle (Walter Ray)Spurlock, and Glenn Williams of Las Vegas, Nevada; two brothers, Rudy Wilson of Las Vegas, Nevada, Anthony Wilson of Vicksburg, Mississippi, and three sisters, Agnes Wilson, LaVern Jones, Lorraine (Clifton) Marshall, of Las Vegas, Nevada, and her stepbrother Willie E. Adored grandmother to Ashlie, Brittney, Jasmine, and Cortland, Glendon, Monique of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Jeremy of Richmond, California, and three great-grandchildren, Aniyah, Zayden and Ar’riah of Las Vegas, Nevada.

I Love You Mom,
Thanks for coming to let me know you are in heaven rejoicing with the angels. You wiped away my tears and gave me the sweetest kiss. You told me to live my life and always cherish our sweet memories. You said you will always be close by and I'd never be along. It's alright to cry, but not for too long as we shall be together again. Thank you, Mom, I, miss you, my sweet angel.
Love you,
Rachelle
