I remember how faithful my friend Barbra was to her Lord in her service to the Hope Chaplaincy. She poured herself out to serving Christ as she served the sick  in the hospital and as she loved and inspired her fellow believers by her words kindness and love. 
I am so looking forward to the time ahead when we will all be together again in the presences of the King! Thank you for the opportunity to remember her in this way.

We would like to express our sincere condolences to the family of Sister Barbara. She a was a blessing to our congregation and had such a gentle and welcoming spirit. Praying for the family. Sister Barbara was a wonderful woman and usher. Her laugh was contagious. We would laugh and she would always say to me and my husband " alright now, you better behave" she will truly be missed. An earth angel for sure.

Barbara was like a sister to me. She and her family were my family.   We prayed, worshiped, studied the Word of God, laughed, cried and witnessed together. She loved her family, friends and never met a stranger. God made Barbara a very special human being.   She will truly be missed  but never forgotten. 

Barbara along with several believers were seeking the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, after receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior. We did receive the Glorious gift, and began a sweeter journey in the Lord. She was an instrument to praying, minstry, and bringing a move of the Holy Spirit in North Texas. After a few years, she moved to Las Vegas NV with her husband and family. Her favorite song: Sin Doesn't Live Here Anymore. We will see you again in Heaven's bright Glory land.

I'm sorry that we can't be there with you at this time.Darrell and I are only a phone call away please do not hesitate to call us if you need to talk or just feel overwhelmed we are here for you.Even though I've remarried and it's been 20 years now I've always kept Barbara in my life and your Uncle Arthur adored her!He told me that I was going to love Barbara and he was right!! My Police Academy Graduation. My Nanna was always there for me. Even if all I wanted to do was talk, we would sit on the phone for hours. She was such a beautiful person, inside and out. She was my Bestfriend. I love you and will miss you everyday 💛

She was amazing!! Just a breathe of fresh air for anyone who encountered her. She was a child of God, and volunteered as a chaplain and served for many years on her churches usher board. She is widowed by her late husband Bobby Watkins, and survived by her three children. Her oldest son Brian Watkins, and eldest daughter Beshara Grubbs, and her baby girl Barshea Watkins, and a host of other family members, and close friends. There's no one like her. She's one of a kind!! We love you MOM!!💖
