Barbara Ferguson

They had four children Ricky Lynn Ferguson (died as newborn), Sheila (Neil) Bourne, H.L. (April) Ferguson Jr., and Roy (Karen) Ferguson who had her two wonderful grandchildren Lance Ferguson and Amanda (Robert) Brann. She is also survived by her beloved brother Douglas Paul Gibbs (Odessa) who worked at the Test Site as an Operating Engineer with her husband.

She was a homemaker until her husband was injured on the job and could not work. She put herself through beauty school and became a hairdresser to support her children and husband. After her husband passed away she went to work at the International which later became the Las Vegas Hilton, she worked there as a showroom cashier and Coffee Shop Cashier in the Culinary Union. She joined the Teamster Union and worked as a Front Desk Clerk until she retired in 1995.

A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m.; burial to follow. All services will be held at Palm Eastern Mortuary and Cemetery, 7600 South Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada 89123.
