Audrey Bernice Bilansky

Audrey Bilansky, 86, peacefully passed away at her home with her loving husband Bill at her side on September 22, 2014 after many unpleasant years and some successful years dealing with lung cancer. Audrey was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on February 22, 1928 and was a 35-year resident of Las Vegas, Nevada. Audrey was married to her very loving husband Bill for 64 ¾ years. In the past, they have visited Vancouver Island, Canada and have traveled throughout the United States extensively. Audrey was a very kind, caring and compassionate person with a great sense of humor and excelled in good home cooked meals, baking and sewing. Audrey and her husband have been members of the Good Samaritan Lutheran Church for the past 34 years where they have many loving, caring friends and two great Pastors, Don Lorfing and Scott Hove. Audrey was preceded in death by her dear daughter Lois (38); loving grandson Brian (32); brothers Robert and Ken; and sisters Alice, Lillian, Helen and Trudy. She is survived by her dearest, loving husband Bill Sr.; son William Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada; son Robert of Vista, California; grandson Christopher of Hillsboro, Oregon; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 12:00pm with funeral service to follow at 2:00pm and burial at Palm Eastern Mortuary (7600 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada 89123).
