Arnold "Arnie" Poster

Arnold “Arnie” Poster, 87, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018. Arnie was born in the Bronx, NY on June 30, 1930 to Jack and Clara Poster (nee Rosenzweig) and was a Southern Nevada resident for 20 years. He owned and operated various businesses, including a driving school, North Park Bakery and Arnie’s Alley Deli in San Diego, CA. He also owned a vending machine business, a currency exchange, and in his 80’s developed a pre-packaged bakery products distributorship. Arnie was a U.S Army veteran, he loved bowling, and was an avid San Diego Padres fan. He is preceded is in death by his parents; two brothers, Seymour Robert "Bob" and Bernard “Bernie”; and Ruth (nee Seltzer), his beloved wife of 63 years. He is survived by three sons, Jay (Pamela) of Las Vegas, Gordon (Laura) of Palm Desert, CA, and Michael of Las Vegas; five grandchildren, Jeremy, Erin (Nathan), Megan (Peter), Janna, and Adam; sister-in-law, Sarah Poster; and brother-in-law, Stanley Seltzer (Jane). Arnie valued his family and his work above anything. He will be truly missed by his family. Funeral and burial services will be held on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 2:00pm at King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane, Las Vegas, NV. Family requests that memorial donations be sent to the Congregation Ner Tamid of Henderson, NV or Temple Sinai of Palm Desert, CA. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
