Arlene Mae Jenkins, age 79, passed away on Friday 16th in Las Vegas, NV. She was born in Chicago, IL to Carl and Jean Berkovitz on September 19th, 1937. Arlene gave birth to her daughter, Francine, on June 24th, 1958 in Chicago and was later married to her loving husband, Doug, after moving to Las Vegas. Arlene worked as a medical transcriptionist for 33 years. She was involved in many activities throughout her community such as organ club, travel club, and the Red Hat Society. Arlene had the kindest soul and was loved by all of those who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Arlene is preceded in death by her parents (Carl and Jean), husband (Doug), and daughter (Francine). Arlene is survived by her brother Alan (Esther), son-in-law Jerry (Candy), grandchildren Zachary (Laura) and Joshua, great granddaughter Libbi, nieces Julie (Bill), Caryn (Steven), and Amy (Joel), and many great grand nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at King David’s Funeral Home on Thursday, June 22nd at 12:00 PM .Arrangements under the direction of King David Memorial Chapel, Las Vegas, NV.
