As a teenager, Anna was an active member of her Ukrainian Cultural Dance Troupe. The troupe performed at the 1939-1940 New York World’s Fair and was scheduled to tour Europe. The opportunity was missed due to the breakout of World War II.
Anna worked for Avildsen Tools and Machines, New York where she held line and administrative duties and worked her way to Purchasing Agent. She then went to work for a Merrill Lynch securities firm where she worked in the Finance Department. In 1975, she moved to Branchburg, New Jersey and established Anne’s Mini Market, a deli and food convenience store. In 1986, she retired to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she was a Communicant at St. Gabriel Byzantine Catholic Church, Las Vegas.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents Catherine and Michael Litwin; her husband Walter Zador; grandson Scott A. Beckner of New Jersey; son-in-law Stephen Beckner Sr.; and siblings Nicholas Litwin, Gregory Litwin and Stephanie Worgul.
She is survived by her daughters Catherine Beckner of Tennessee; Jean and Fred Warren of New Jersey; Mary Anne and Thomas Flora of New Jersey; grandchildren Stephen A. Beckner Jr. of West Virginia, Catherine Trujillo of Tennessee, Christopher Beckner of Tennessee, Frederick Warren III and Joshua Flora both of New Jersey and Thomas Flora Jr. of Pennsylvania; and 16 great-grandchildren, nephew, great-nephews and great-nieces.
