Anita M. Papagna, 90, homemaker, of Las Vegas, passed away Sept. 24, 2011. She was born Nov. 30, 1920, in Youngstown, Ohio and was a 56-year resident of Nevada. She attended St. Anne's Catholic Church and was a volunteer for St. Jude Children Research Center and St. Rose De Lima Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Papagna; brother, Rudy Zappi; sons, Toby, and Thomas Papagna; and sister, Helen Fleet. Visitation will be 4 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 29. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
