Herman “Andy” Earl Anderson, 99, a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away April 27, 2013. He was born on September 19, 1913 in Arlington, Texas to Joe B. Anderson and Willie Mae Swain.
Andy served in the Army during WWII, and was a resident of Las Vegas since 1969. He was a manager for several magazine and newspaper companies until he retired. He loved his family, watching the Lawrence Welk show, reading, and fishing.
Andy was preceded in death by his wife of 23 years, Lily, and his parents, Joe and Willie.
He is survived by his daughter Patty (Eddie); grandsons Stan (Angela) and Mikey; great-grandsons Vincent, Darien, and Zion; and several nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, May 3, 2013 from 12-2pm with Funeral Services beginning at 2pm both at Palm Mortuary located at 7600 South Eastern Avenue. Burial will follow at Palm Valley View Cemetery.
