Allen will be missed by many. He was a kind, gentle man whose spirit will live on in our memories. His soul was a gift to everyone who knew him. He was a creative, hard-working man who always put family first, a devoted father to his son Matthew and a loving, supportive husband to his wife Liz.
Allen was a professional musician/drummer and was liked and respected by his peers. At the age of 21 he enlisted in the Army and for a period of 6 years played various ceremonies and parades while stationed at Fort Knox, KY. After the military Allen traveled the country doing what he loved most, playing drums and making music. He was very supportive of young musicians offering both encouragement and monetary support for musical instruments and education.
He is predeceased by his parents Dorothy and Archie Taylor. He is survived by his wife Liz Damon-Taylor and his son Matthew Taylor. He is also survived by his Aunt Barbara and Uncle “Buddy” English and family of Chesapeake, VA. He is also survived by loving friends and family in Ohio, Hawaii, New Jersey, Virginia and Las Vegas, Nevada.
