Hi Leona and Family. So saddened to hear of Allan's passing. We hope that you will have many smiles enjoying the memories and expressing gratitude to our wonderful God who gave us a fine man to lead your family. Dear Auntie Leona, Kurt, Sean, and your families.  Sending our deepest sympathy to you all on this sad day.  Loved visiting with Uncle Allan, and hearing that cool American accent.  Dave and I had the pleasure of an afternoon of cocktails and visiting at one of the downtown casinos many years ago (1980s) with Allan and Leona, and sure enjoyed the stories from his younger days. Thinking of you all as we say goodbye to a wonderful man. Always looked forward to summer visits! Uncle Allan introduced us to the Cortez Room in Las Vegas and we will think of him every time we revisit. Will miss you. Hugs to you all. Xo

I will always remember how Allan liked to tinker with things, trying the make it work better. Like when he changed the jets in the carburetor of his '71 Grand Ville here at the farm then doing a brake stand to see if it had more power. That car was the only convertible that I rode in with the top down. Once he came home late at night, after some partying and thought it would be a good time to try out dad's bird scare cannon. I will miss him.

I was very saddened to hear about Uncle Allan.  Was glad that I had gotten to see him and talk for a bit at Uncle Harry's memorial.  There were a lot of Mugglis in that room and he was enjoying himself immensely!

Very sad to hear of Uncle Allens passing. Like all of my cousins - we sure looked forward to the visits from our American relatives. Lots of interesting conversations and never a dull moment. He always had time to talk to everyone - even the little kids. Deepest sympathies and very sorry for your loss Leona, Sean, Kurt and families.

Maureen and I and our family are very sad for your loss. It was always a pleasure for me when Allan would stop in at my office on his and Leona's annual visits to Muenster and Humboldt. We talked about our families and many other things. Leona, I hope to see you in the next several months. Kurt and Sean, cousins: I look forward to meeting you some day. I imagine you as was your father was: a caring man, always eager to talk about his childrens' accomplishments.
I hope you escaped the Muggli short and mostly bald. However, if you inherited from your father his Muggli inquivitness, interests, intelligence and feistiness, you will be well served by your father's legacy.

My deepest condolences on your loss. I used to really look forward to your summer visits when I was younger, and getting the chance to see my cousins and uncle and aunt from the States. I was lucky to have uncle Allan as my godfather. I have fond memories of your visits, and will keep Allan, and you and your families in my prayers during this difficult time.

Leona, Kurt Sean and families: we were so sorry to hear of Allan's passing. We will always remember the way he laughed, as well as his words of guidance,and the stories he told. He held all of us in his heart and was always there for us when situations arise. We will remember his great sense of humor, and we will always fel his love. We will always cherish his memories. Auntie Leona, Kurt, Sean and families.  Sending our deepest sympathies.  I loved when Dad, Allan, Harry and Tony were together.  I could listen for hours about their stories and picking out the many similar mannerisms and expressions they shared.  Carl also enjoyed the electrician talks he shared with Uncle Allan. Very sad and sorry to hear of Allan's passing. Did not have a lot of opportunity to visit with your family,but I do remember a very good visit with Allan a  few years ago at Uncle Tony's farm house with a couple of the Aunties.

Hi, Auntie Leona. Hello Kurt and Sean. And greetings to your families. Hearts are heavy up here. I got the news while driving to Muenster, where I bunked for a couple nights at Lana's house - Grandpa and Grandma's old house in Muenster. Walking up to her front step, I looked down at the piece of sidewalk we helped put down a few summers ago. Allan was visiting that day and he was pitching in with the shoveling and troweling. At the conclusion, Allan pointed out how slippery that sucker was gonna be in winter. He grabbed a broom and made a swirly pattern in the cement. Lana says it works like a charm. When I stepped on that sidewalk Friday night, I could hear Allan's voice, and see his proud smiling face, almost as clear as if he was standing right there. Pretty simple little thing I suppose, but I am sure glad I have that memory. It's a damn good piece of sidewalk. Be well.  Heath and Lori and Brett and Jace and Damon and Kade.

I was only fortunate to have met Uncle Allan on a few brief occasions but found him to be extremely kind hearted. He undoubtedly shared that same sense of humor that i experienced so often growing up around my Grandpa. To reiterate what Lana had mentioned, It truly was nice to see him and Gramps together over what were his last few weeks. I can tell they shared many similarities and I can only imagine the positive impact he must have had on many around him. 

My thoughts go out to his family.

We are so sorry to hear of Uncle Allan's passing.  I remember the time Ron and I visited in Las Vegas.  You picked us up at our hotel took us back to your place,  went for supper at a local pub, visited with Kurt, Pam  and the twins (they were so cute) and then off to Old Vegas.  We had  such a wonderful time and were so happy we were able to see you all .  May the wonderful memories you have help sustain you all through this sad and difficult time.

thinking about all of you and sending warm hugs your way.  I will miss uncle Allan's visits,  emails, and most of all our political discussions. (Arguements I should say! ) Dad was always happiest when Allan was visiting.  Now they are together again laughing it up and telling great stories. May the many wonderful memories you created over the years ease the grief you are feeling.

So sad that my Las Vegas uncle is gone, I will miss his annual summer visits and his Muggli sense of humor. I am so glad he made the time to spend with Dad before he passed, it meant a lot to me to see them together. Leona, Kurt and Sean I have you all in my thoughts, Sending you lots of Love!

I was so heartbroken to hear of Uncle Allan's passing. I remember growing up and being so excited to hear Uncle Allan and family would be making the trip back home. Uncle Allan you made us laugh so much. Leona, Kurt, Sean and families please know that you have the love of family and friends to help you through this sadness. Much love....
