Alinda A. Jamerson, 80, of Las Vegas, Nevada, transitioned to heaven peacefully on July 31, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Magnolia, Arkansas on March 26, 1943. Alinda, was affectionately known as Linda, Mommy, LJ, Nina, Granny, Nana, GG, Sis and Aunt. She had numerous titles because she served many roles in the lives of those who loved her dearly, and those she loved unconditionally.
Alinda enjoyed a successful 28-year career in the medical field. She began as an Electrocardiogram Technician at Daniel Freeman Hospital in Inglewood, California and worked there until the hospital closed. Soon after the closing of Daniel Freeman Hospital, she continued her career at Centinela Hospital Medical Center in Inglewood, California, as a Cardiovascular Technician. In 2008 she retired and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, to be with her grandchildren. She was a member of Victory Missionary Baptist Church, and truly missed attending in person. She was a classy lady who didn’t hesitate to speak her mind. She had a passion for cooking and baking. The food was always delicious because it was prepared with love, and she treasured spending time with family. Her favorite hobbies were cooking, baking, hosting, shopping and cruising in her Corvette.
Alinda is preceded in transition by her parents: Ada Lee Jamerson and Solomon Jamerson. She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters: Antionette Stuckey of Lancaster, California, Ronda C. Bension (Darryl) of Henderson, Nevada; two grandchildren: Danyelle C. Easter (Vi’Ance) and Xavier D. Bension of Las Vegas, Nevada; two bonus granddaughters Stephanie C. Bension and Stacey N. Bension of Houston, Texas; and one great granddaughter, Shiori S. Easter of Las Vegas, Nevada; one and only brother Sol E. Jamerson, of Carson, California, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends, and special friend Stephanie White of Las Vegas, Nevada.
